Okay yogis, ready for a real challenge? Try this one on for size! Lotus in Headstand (Urdhva Padmasana in Sirsasana) is a challenging variation of headstand pose that will improve your balance as well as open up your hips, thighs, and knees.
You will need a good degree of flexibility as well as familiarity with inversion poses to do this one, so make sure that you are very comfortable with both headstand and Lotus pose before you try this. Also make sure to warm up and loosen up your hips and thighs first.
