How To Do Upward-Facing Dog Pose (The Right Way)

Everyone comes to yoga with their own set of unique challenges (for me, it’s lack of flexibility), but that doesn’t mean there isn’t a “right way” to do each pose. Some poses you will need to modify – at least in the beginning – to suit your needs, and there’s nothing wrong with that.  But knowing the correct way to do a pose will help you visualize what you should be shooting for – at least in the long-run. However long it takes you to get there is fine!

The correct form is also important to prevent strain and injury (yes, this can happen, even during yoga).
