[Weekly Workout] 1-Hour Modified Beginner Ashtanga Series

Get a nice taste of Ashtanga with this modified beginner series!

This modified beginner Ashtanga series is perfect for those who are new to the Ashtanga yoga style, and want to get a taste of this challenging form of yoga. If you aren’t yet able to do Lotus Pose, this is the Ashtanga class for you!

While you don’t need any prior Ashtanga experience to do this class, it would best if you have at least some basic yoga knowledge.

This one-hour session will take you through a modified version of the Ashtanga yoga primary series. You’ll begin with an opening prayer, and then move into the sequence. You may wish to have a yoga strap, a couple of yoga blocks, and a small pillow or folded blanket on hand.
