We’re taking a quick break from our Yoga Journey series this week to focus on back pain. Back pain impacts a substantial number of Americans, and working from home during the pandemic has only worsened the problem. Fortunately, yoga can be a wonderful way to relieve back pain gently and naturally, and this week’s class is a great example.
This gentle restorative sequence is perfect for helping to relieve pain and tension in the back, but even if you don’t suffer from pain, you can still use this flow to help stretch and relax the body, loosen up the spine and back muscles, and perhaps prevent future pain issues from occurring.
Do this one regularly – especially if you spend a lot of time sitting at a desk or using the computer. All you need is a yoga mat, a yoga block and a few minutes!
