[Weekly Workout] 20-Minute Aqua Yoga for Stress & Anxiety

New to yoga? Need a great way to relax & release this summer? Try aqua yoga for yourself!

Aqua yoga – or water yoga – is a great option for those with therapeutic needs, as well as those with stress and anxiety, those new to yoga, or simply anyone who loves the water!

There are a number of benefits of practicing yoga in the water, including strength building, relaxation, reduced impact on the joints, and increased bodily awareness. You can learn more about aqua yoga here, or try it yourself following the guided class below.

This practice is best done in chest-depth water that is at least 86 degrees F.

You will need a pool noodle or other flotation device for this class, but you do not need to be able to swim, and you won’t even have to get your hair wet. Just follow along and get ready to let your cares and worries float away!
