Focus on your breath and the feelings in your body as you move and hold – notice where each muscle is contracting and relaxing just to keep you balanced in each pose. This exercise will help to connect the mind with the body, even if you have a lot on your mind to distract you from your practice.

Remember to listen to your body and treat it with respect – don’t push it too hard, but be willing to challenge your boundaries just a little bit. When we challenge ourselves, that’s when we grow!
