[Weekly Workout] 30-Minute Yoga for PMS & Menstrual Cramps
Yoga is great for PMS and relieving menstrual pain. Here’s a quick class you can do at home to ease your discomfort…
When you’re feeling tired, bloated, and crampy, the last thing you want to do is work out, right? However, moderate exercise can actually help to reduce PMS symptoms and menstrual pain. Yoga is a great way to get some healthy movement in during that time of the month, without sapping what’s left of your energy.
This week’s 30-minute yoga class is great for those suffering from PMS or menstrual cramps. It’s also a good one for when you’re feeling low-energy or just need a short and relaxing session. Flow through this sequence of poses to help release pain and tension in the abdomen and lower back, relax your body from head to toe, and find some relief from the discomfort of period pain.
All you need is a yoga mat for this short class, although you may wish to have a yoga block and a strap available as well for some of the exercises.
