If you are interested in exploring the lovely tradition of Ashtanga yoga, the video below will give you a little taste of what Ashtanga is all about.

Ashtanga yoga consists of a specified series of poses combined with certain breathing practices designed to unite your mind and body. Ashtanga can be challenging, and many classes are over 1 1/2 hours long. This 35-minute beginner class is a good sample of what Ashtanga is all about, but be prepared for a full-length Ashtanga class to provide a much more challenging workout.

For this session, you will need 2 yoga blocks and a yoga strap, and you may also wish to have a cushion or folded blanket to sit on if you have limited flexibility.
