About the author

  • Great blog! Do you have any tips and hints for aspiring writers? I’m planning to start my own blog soon but I’m a little lost on everything. Would you recommend starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid option? There are so many choices out there that I’m completely confused .. Any tips? Bless you!

Hi there, thanks for your comment! I would say WordPress is probably your best option for a free platform, and it’s very very flexible. However, it can be a little overwhelming for a beginner. Blogger another option that is easier and simpler for getting started, but there is a lot less flexibility and fewer options for monetizing and themes, etc. It’s up to you, but I recommend WordPress, though you might want to take a class or something just to learn how to use everything if you aren’t very familiar with blogging or website platforms.

  • Appreciate this post. Will try it out.

  • This design is incredible! You obviously know how to keep a reader entertained. Between your wit and your videos, I was almost moved to start my own blog (well, almost…HaHa!) Great job. I really loved what you had to say, and more than that, how you presented it. Too cool!
